BAHA’I WORLD CENTRE — As the historic 200th anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah next month approaches, the Baha’i Media Bank has undergone a major update.
For nearly 11 years, the site has served as a reservoir of visual resources for publishers, journalists, videographers, and students, among others.
With over 1,600 photographs as well as maps and graphics, the site is categorized under five main headings: activities of the Baha’i community, administration and agencies, buildings and places, history, and gatherings and conferences.
This photo of the Shrine of the Bab is among the new photos of Baha’i holy places and other significant sites included on the Media Bank.
The site provides a glimpse into the diversity of the Baha’i community and the breadth of its activities unfolding at the grassroots as well as at the national and international levels. It also contains a number of historical photographs.
The site content will be periodically updated and new photographs added to the various collections. The Baha’i Media Bank can be found at: media.bahai.org
