Urgent statement from the French Embassy in Yemen regarding the Baha’is

A statement from the French embassy in Yemen said: “France condemns the arbitrary arrest of 17 followers of the Baha’i faith who gathered peacefully in Sana’a on May 25.

She called for their immediate releas.

“We condemn the blatant violations of freedom of thought and belief in Houthi-controlled areas.”
